State 48 Cleaners – Service Terms & Liability Policy

At State 48 Cleaners, we take great care in cleaning and handling your garments and household items. By using our services, you agree to the following terms:

1. Standard of Care

State 48 Cleaners exercises the highest level of care in processing all items. However, we are not responsible for damage resulting from normal cleaning processes, manufacturer defects, fabric weakness, improper or missing care labels, or pre-existing conditions.

2. Limited Liability

In the event an item is lost or damaged and State 48 Cleaners is found responsible, liability is limited to the item's fair market value, based on its age, condition, original cost, and reasonable depreciation. Liability shall not exceed ten (10) times the cleaning charge for the affected item.

3. Exclusions

State 48 Cleaners is not responsible for:
- Normal wear and tear
- Shrinkage, color loss, or damage due to manufacturer defects
- Items without proper care labels
- Pre-existing damage or fragile materials
- Sentimental, emotional, or non-monetary value

4. Claims

All claims must be reported within seven (7) days of delivery or pickup. Failure to report within this timeframe constitutes acceptance of the item in its returned condition.

5. Customer Agreement

By providing items for service, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and limitations of liability.
